Know and Experience

By reading the Bible and studying the word of God, we strive to help each person know, experience and live God’s love. We welcome everyone to join us as we walk the journey of discerning God’s will for us.

Our friendly open community of faith is dedicated to help all learn to recognize and understand the loving nature of God and Christ’ compassion for humanity. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit we fulfill our role to share that love and compassion within the community of Auburn and the rest of the world. All are welcome to share in this journey.

Sunday morning Worship, Bible study and special worship services such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Christmas Eve are just a few ways we learn to know and experience this love of God. There are also many rich and varied activities available for different age groups to experience and learn to know who God is.

Our eclectic “Sunday School” tackles a variety of current events and issues with guest speakers, to make all aware of needs that go beyond the local church. Movies that provoke thought and discussion are also part of the learning experience at APC.

Learning the relevance of scripture to today’s modern world is the aim at the weekly Bible Study. The group spends time in reading and discussion scriptural texts, learning of the many characters within the Bible and how God used them to fulfill God’s purpose. How God can use all of us today even if we don’t realize it.
